Union Minister virtually opens covid care facility


Visakhapatnam, May 30:

Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gases and Steel, inaugurated a 300-bed covid care facility set up as a part of the proposed 1,000-bed centre for treatment of covid patients at Gurajada Kalakshetram and Hostel-1 on the steel plant premises through virtual mode on Sunday.
In his address, Mr. Pradhan lauded the efforts of the steel plant for rising to the occasion in the national interest by relentlessly working and becoming the savior of many lives during this pandemic time.
He praised the team of RINL for making swift and dedicated efforts in sending the first oxygen express to Maharashtra. He also thanked the State government for extending all kinds of support required to set up the covid care facility on the premises of the steel plant.
