Visakhapatnam, May 24:
Telugu Desam national general secretary Nara Lokesh has alleged that ‘Rajareddy rajyangam’, and not Ambedkar Constitution, is being implemented in the State .
Mr. Lokesh, who visited the house of Sudhakar, a doctor at Narsipatnam hospital, near Akkayyapalem in Visakhapatnam following his death due to cardiac arrest three days ago, termed it a government killing.
It may be recalled that Sudhakar hit the headlines when he had made certain remarks against Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy when he denied a mask at the hospital. Later, he had created a scene at Akkayyapalem and police registered a case. When TDP leader Anitha moved the court accusing the government of harassing the Dalit doctor, the case was handed over to CBI which submitted its report to court.
Charging the government with attacking Dalits in the State, the TDP leader described Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy as a ‘sadist’ and alleged his government was trying to eliminate Dalits one after the other.
“If the attacks continue, we know how to teach a lesson to Jagan Reddy, ” warned the TDP leader.
Mr. Lokesh, while promising to stand by the family of Sudhakar, urged the government to extend a financial aid of Rs. 1 crore to the kin of Sudhakar.
